After trusting in Christ in the summer of 2013 at age 18, Ben became increasingly grateful for his parents and all who had sown the seeds of the gospel in him from an early age. He also began leading Bible studies and small groups shortly after becoming a Christian and felt a call to ministry a few years later. Since the spring of 2017, he has been studying at Leavell College in New Orleans, LA, and will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies in May of 2021. He has a passion for families to know and follow Jesus together, and for people of all ages to be discipled in their faith. As the Children and Youth Pastor at FVBC, Ben is excited to serve through providing opportunities for Children and Youth to come to know Christ and to grow in His word, and he is excited to provide resources for parents as they take on their responsibility of leading out in discipleship in their home. Ben is engaged to his beautiful fiancé, Sarah, and they will be married in March of 2021!
