Worship MinistriesWelcome MinistryThis ministry meets and greets people as they arrive at church on Sunday mornings. This ministry provides assistance to our guests, as well as providing a welcoming place. The Greeter ministry provides the "first impression" of Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church. Greeters work one Sunday a month. UshersThis ministry provides assistance to our guests and members to find seats during Worship service as well as collects tithes. AudioThe Audio Team is responsible for the sound systems of the church. This ministry also makes copies of tapes and CDs of each worship service as well as supporting the Online Audio portion of the FVBC website. Visual MediaThe Visual Media Team is responsible for the video during Sunday worship services and many other church activities. Music/DramaThe purpose of the Music Ministry at Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church is to glorify and exalt Christ and to make disciples through public and private worship. The music ministry is divided into the following age appropriate groups: Adult, Youth, Children/Preschool. The drama ministry is to develop and grow a group of individuals in the art of acting to effectively communicate God's truth and bring Him glory. Life GroupOne of the best ways to get involved in the local church and to meet people is in our small group Bible Studies on Sunday Morning. The purpose of the Life Group (small group Bible Study) is to evangelize by reaching, teaching, and discipling the lost. It is also our goal to minister to the body through prayer, care groups, and fellowship. We also desire to lead people to worship our Savior and live lives worthy of Him. Children's DepartmentThe purpose of the Children's department is to introduce children from grades 1-5 to the love of Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through Bible Study, parties, and mission projects. It is in this ministry that the foundation is laid to live an entire life that honors Christ. This is a great place to begin to serve God's precious children.
