Women's Ministry
Welcome!
FVBC Women's Ministry is for women ages 18 to 108. Our mission is to witness to the lost, to worship our Savior, to help women walk more closely with Christ, and to work together to serve others in our community.
Witness
This sub-committee focuses on reaching lost women for Christ. They plan and coordinate the annual Faith and Fashion event and other outreach activities.
Worship
This sub-committee focuses on bringing the women of our church together for worship. They coordinate and publicize conferences, retreats and other worship events.
Walk
This sub-committee focuses on supporting the spiritual growth of the women of our church. They coordinate the annual Birthday Celebration event as well as our on-going Bible studies and W.O.W. groups.
Work
This sub-committee focuses on bringing the women of church together to serve others. They coordinate the annual Go Green event and various service projects throughout the year.

We’re looking for "Hidden Gems" who have gifts that will enhance the Women’s Ministry in the areas of Witness, Worship, Walk, and Work. If you feel a tug on your heart to join us, or just want to learn more, please contact us right away. We can't wait to talk to you!
W.O.W. Groups
Women of the Word groups are small groups that gather to fellowship, study God’s word, pray together and grow spiritually. These groups meet at various times and places and welcome new members at any time throughout the year!

theEnd Book Club
This group meets monthly on the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the FVBC Media Center to fellowship and discuss books. For more information contact:

Summer Siesta Bible Study
For two years running the Women's Ministry has held summer Bible study late June through August. This past year we studied Vicki Courtney's "The Virtuous Woman: Shattering the Super Woman Myth". Groups met once every two weeks; days and times varied. It was a great time of small group fellowship for ladies and we hope to do this again next year. We will post details for Summer 2012 in the Spring!
