Students @ FVBCSTOMP LOGO

Purpose

STOMP, the Student Ministry of FVBC is seeing the mighty hand of the Lord!  He is moving and changing the lives of students in schools across the area.  There's something for everyone; corporate & small group bible study, music, opportunities to serve, mission trips,  games, outings, outreach trips, with new and exciting things introduced all the time.  Our goal is to build relationships with students and through those relationships we're seeing lives changed.

Worship

STOMP is a time of worship for students 6th through 12th grade.  Student-lead and Christ-focused, the Smelley Shepherds start things off with awesome worship music followed by a message, usually delivered by Joe Monk, Youth Pastor here at FVBC.  And very often there are games.  And those games can get messy and crazy!  It's casual and it's open to all who will come.  Check it out and invite all your friends!

Missions

The purpose of missions is to fulfill our commission to go to all the world. Our work is both local and abroad. Participating in missions causes our students to see outside of themselves so they can see to reach their friends and see God's calling upon their life, which is to be a witness wherever they are.

Sunday Night Connect Groups

Youth Sunday Night Connect Groups are off & running for the new school year.  Sunday nights 6:30-7:30pm.  High school students meet in the homes of Youth Volunteers and middle school students meet here in the Fellowship Hall or in the Mission House across the street.  This provides a small group setting that’s even more casual than STOMP.

Where to Meet:
Middle School – Fellowship Hall or across the street
9th - 10th Grade – Tommy & Fonda Phillips' home
11th -12th Grade – Terry & Glenda Gibson’s home

Football Dinners!

During the high school football season this ministry prepares and serves the varsity football teams at Fuquay-Varina High School, Holly Springs High School and Middle Creek High School.  Food is prepared at FVBC and transported to HSHS and MCHS. Players from FVHS come to FVBC for their meal.  YOU can help!  Able bodies (especially students) are always needed to help serve and clean up at each school.  Meals are served at 3:00 at various locations.  Contact the church office at 552-4644 if you can help!
