Adult Music Ministries

FVBC Adult Choir
Membership in the Adult Choir is composed of Christian adults whose spirit and intent conform to the belief that we are the praise leaders of our church body, called to the ministry of music. The object of our choir is to glorify, in music, the message of the Bible and to serve as true companions to the ministry of the preaching of the Word. Professional musicianship is not a requirement, but a desire and willingness to improve oneself through
learning opportunities and a commitment to regular attendance is essential. Rehearsal for the Adult Choir is every Wednesday at 7:30 pm in the Worship Center

FVBC Adult Orchestra
Psalm 3:33 says "Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy." The FVBC Adult Orchestra is an active group of loving people committed to serving the Lord by using their gifts and talents to help lead worship
through music on a weekly basis. The orchestra rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm in the Worship Center. This is a great ministry opportunity for those who are high school age and above.

FVBC Adult Handbells
Using a beautiful three-octave set of Schulmerich handbells, this group has many ministry opportunities, not only within the worship services, but also in various functions throughout the community. Rehearsals are every Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Room following the Evening Worship.

Senior Singers
With the belief that retirement doesn't apply to God's work, this choir offers God praise through their voices on a weekly basis. The Senior Singers lead in Worship, perform musicals in the community and have given God praise at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. If you are 55 and older and would like to be a part of this vibrant ministry, please join us. Rehearsals are every Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. in the Music Room.

Women's Ensemble
The Women's Ensemble is a choral group pulled from the Adult Choir. These ladies understand the great responsibility of leading God's people in worship and choose to take on this duty in addition to the Adult Choir. The Women's Ensemble can be seen in many venues throughout the church and rehearse on a to-be-announced schedule.
