“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalm 139:14
Born Out of Need
The Lord revealed this need to a group of people at FVBC — the need of Special Needs children and their parents to attend church, worship, fellowship, serve, learn, and be a part of a body of believers. Class for these students begins at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
“Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:4-5
How Can You Help?
A 1-to-1 ratio is ideal to provide each student proper care and attention. Structure and the consistency of volunteers provide a great environment for learning. With published curriculum, classes are designed to include:
- Bible reading
Please prayerfully consider how the Lord might use you in this ministry. You’re welcome to observe a class in progress. Any of the current volunteers are happy to share with you all they’ve learned and how they’ve been blessed by the students.
