We believe the small group environment (Life Group) is so important in the accomplishment of our mission to lead people to Christ and in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  Our vision is for all worship attendees to be actively involved in a Life Group.

Success at FVBC is defined by how effectively our Life Groups are organized and functioning. Life Groups are optimally made up of 3-10 couples, or 6-20 individuals of the same gender, with the function of personally encouraging and challenging people in their relationship with God and each other.

We believe the small group is the best place where sustained life change can occur. It’s in the small group where people study God’s Word together and are in an environment to tackle the tough questions and challenges of life. It’s also where they pray and care for one another and are missed if they do not show up.

Practically speaking, there will never be a way for the staff or pastor to personally minister to everyone who attends our church. That’s why we place such high premium on group life. It’s how we effectively minister at FVBC.
