Men's Ministry
NC Baptist Men Disaster Relief Training;
March 19-20, Campbell University
NCBM Disaster Relief Training is available to all believers who have a passion to serve others. Disaster response is a unique mission
experience because of the sudden nature of the event, difficult conditions, and high expectations from non faith-based groups and survivors.
We hope God calls you to this type of ministry through NCBM Disaster Relief. There are four (4) training categories: Basic, Crosstrainer,
Recertification, and Advanced.

Mission Opportunity for Baptist Children’s Home
LaGrange, NC
A group from FVBC will be helping with painting and light renovation projects for the Transition Home at Kennedy Memorial Home, in
LaGrange, NC. The Transition Home aids young people who come through the Baptist Children’s Homes and need the chance to go to college, or transition into adult life. There will be several weekend opportunities for you to help on this worthwhile ministry in the weeks to

- Sunday Night Connect Groups
The Connect Groups meet at the following places:
11-12 grade students meet at Terry & Glenda Gibson’s home.
9-10 grade students meet at Tommy & Fonda Phillips’ home.
Middle school students meet at the church in the Fellowship Hall.
- Spring Retreat
May 14-16 at The Vineyard Camp & Retreat Center-Westfield, NC. We will leave on the 14th at 3pm and return on the 16th at
3pm. This is for 6th through 12th grade students. Deposit deadline: May 7, 2010. Pick up a brochure at the information center

- Student Life @ The Beach
July 12-16 - Daytona Beach, Florida
Students must have completed at least one year of high school to attend. Cost is $180 and is due April 1 and non-refundable after

Electronic Giving Program
To sign up for this giving option and have your donations
transferred electronically to the church account on a regular basis,
you will need to fill out an authorization form and return it to the
church office. You choose the donation frequency (weekly or
monthly) and the donation amount for each fund you wish to
support.
The authorization forms may be picked up in the church office or in
the adult Sunday School classes, and the downstairs lobby. If
needed, contact the church office and a form will be sent to you.
You may also go online to the church website and click on the link
there to register. You will also be able to make one time gifts or
payments online (for trip and event payments for which you have
registered) in addition to weekly or monthly tithes and offerings.

Sermons and music from Sunday morning services are available on the FVBC website. Scroll down the left side of the home page to Resources, click on Online Audio and then on Sermons or Music. You can then choose what you wish to hear by clicking from the list.

WEECare Ministry
Summer Camp and Fall 2010 Enrollment
WEECare will offer a full day summer camp for children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade. Weekly themes, bible lessons, art, cooking experiences and field trips! Fall 2010 registration to include full day 2’s, 3’s, 4’s and pre-K. Half-day 3 and 4 year-old
preschool and part-time pre-K.. Before and after school program serving Lincoln Heights and Fuquay Elementary. Registration for
church members is February 8th-12th. Stop by the office for an enrollment packet or contact Jessica or Pam at 552-9586. Spread the word to your friends!

FV Emergency Food Pantry Update
The FV Emergency Food Pantry fed 665 families in the area last month. It is in desperate need of bags of rice. Please drop off your donations
of bags of rice in the baskets located in the lower level near the elevator as soon as possible. Thanks!
