Purpose
We want our children to establish a process of growing spiritually by moving one step at a time. This is how we get our name InStride – in step, in process. Every program and activity that we do is part of the strategy to help children grow in Christ.
The world is very intentional in teaching our children many things – this is why we have to be even more intentional about teaching our children God’s Word. Building a strong foundation one step at a time… we are InStride with Jesus Christ.
The result of being InStride… in process… taking steps to spiritual growth is that children share Jesus with others – their friends, their family and even strangers.
Sunday Mornings - 9:45 and 11:00
Nursery through Kindergarten – In a fun and safe environment, children will learn of Jesus’ love for them through Bible stories, games, music and crafts.
Grades 1 through 5 - There is so much available to this age group! And so much to learn!
1st through 5th Grade
“Rotation Stations” - 9:45 or 11:00
Each week of a 5-week study, the children go to a different “Station”. It keeps it interesting for them and leaders have only one lesson to prepare in 5 weeks. Please join us to see what the excitement is about! Below is a sample 5-week rotation:
With “Dig Into The Bible” children learn learn not only the books of the Bible, but study how the Bible progressed from oral stories, to clay tablets, to scrolls, to illuminated manuscripts, to our Bible today.
The Lord’s Lab (science)- Go on an archaeological dig, looking for broken clay tablets. Once all the pieces are found, put the tablet together to create our Bible verse.
Creation Station (art)- Learn about clay tablets, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the Book of Kells (illuminated manuscripts). Create your own illuminated manuscript just like the monks did!
Solid Rock Café (cooking)- Become familiar with finding passages in the Bible while trying to fill-in-the blanks with a “Scripture Bake” cookie recipe. Sample Biblical foods from Numbers, Deuteronomy, and 1 Samuel.
Antioch Arcade (games)- Play games which will reinforce the Books of The Bible..
Devotion Motion (music)- Learn songs to help remember the 66 books of the Bible.

Mission...Jocelyn
Joselyn is a 9 year old girl in Guatemala who we sponsor through Compassion International. It is our continued prayer to collect $38 per month to support Joselyn. Our donation allows her to attend school where she has Bible teaching, medical check-ups, literacy programs, and recreational activities. We talk about Joselyn every Sunday morning encouraging children to do extra chores at home to earn money to send to Joselyn.
